Pond Aeration Kits
 One of the most common health related issues in most ponds is low oxygen levels. If your pond is fairly stagnant, overgrown with algae, smelly, or simply in bad shape, it's a pretty good bet that the oxygen is very low in the water and particularly down deeper in the pond where much of the clean up work goes on.
If you have fish, oxygen is critical to their well-being. Each year, and in particular during hot weather, people have fish die off for no apparent reason. Although there are many things that can affect fish, low oxygen is one of the most lethal and it can come at any time. If you've ever witnessed a pond "turning over" during a hard rain for instance, it's a terrible thing to watch and can quite often kill a lot of pond life in the process.
Pond fountains are somewhat useful for aeration but unless your pond is shallow (6 feet or less) they may be more decorative than anything.
The kind of aerator systems that we work with are those that pump air and oxygen directly into the pond bottom. Our AirMax systems use a land based pump or compressor, a weighted airline, and a diffuser that sits in the pond. This process drives air through small membrane tubes on the diffuser and pushes very small micro-particles of air into the water. These air bubbles rise and make create a very small wake on the surface but in most cases it's very hard to tell when an aeration system is installed in a pond.
As subtle as this appearance may be, the oxygen level and circulation throughout the pond increases dramatically and can begin to turn poor conditions around. Aeration alone may or may not be enough to solve every pond problem but it is often the very first good step an owner can take to make improvements in the health and vitality of the pond.

The information on our aerators below includes our recommendations on what units work best for a particular pond size or situation. Simply choose the package that will work best for you and know that these are complete aeration systems.
Everything you'll need is included in most of these packages, other than the two largest units. The AM80 and AM100 do not include airline so you'll want to choose this seperately. This allows you to save money and select only the amount of airline you'll need for your large pond application.
