Making ultrasonic algae-control information easier to understand.
UltrasonicAlgaeControl.com is an educational resource devoted to the technology, research, field studies and practical experience surrounding ultrasonic algae management in ponds, lakes, reservoirs and other water systems.
Research is useful only when the conditions are understood.
Ultrasonic algae control has been studied in laboratories and used in real waterbodies for many years. The resulting information is scattered across scientific journals, utility reports, conference material, manufacturer documentation and practical field experience.
Those sources are not interchangeable. Laboratory ultrasound may operate very differently from low-power field equipment. A field trial may omit information about algae identification, nutrient loading or coverage. A commercial case report may contain useful measurements while still requiring disclosure of its source.
This site brings those different forms of evidence together while preserving those distinctions.
We do not organize this site around equipment brands or product recommendations. Manufacturer and product names may appear when they are necessary to identify the equipment used in a study, attribute a source, disclose a commercial relationship or accurately describe a documented field case.
Positive, negative and inconclusive findings are all relevant. When important information is missing, we identify the gap rather than filling it with assumptions.
Practical experience matters too.
The site is informed by long-term practical experience with pond and lake management and ultrasonic algae-control equipment. Field observations are kept distinct from controlled research and are identified as such.
Our goal is straightforward: explain the technology clearly, make useful evidence easier to find, and give readers enough context to understand what a study or field report actually tells us.
